Review of Toshiba 17.3″ Satellite C675-S7200 Laptop PC from Walmart for only $398

This is my full review of my new Toshiba 17.3″ Satellite Laptop from Walmart.com for only $398 plus only $0.97 for 3 day FedEx shipping! Computer has a 320GB SATA Hard Drive and 4GB DDR3 SDRAM System Memory along with a DVD SuperMulti DVD Burner and built in Webcam and Microphone and 8 in 1 Memory card reader – comes with Windows 7 preinstalled and Microsoft Office Starter as well as a 30 day free trial of Norton Internet Security 2011 and a 1 year warranty.

@vladan1021 Sorry but I dont know what on Earth your talking about but my speakers are fine. This laptop was a good run for my money. I mean you have one of the up-to-date processors the quality is very good. Webcam is good also what else could you ask for? I dont know about you but I love this laptop.

@click411 Nope…but if you listen real close…I opened the the laptop and showed it….then I followed up and finished the review the following day. Which would be yesterday….or you could pretend I’m just that damn good that I can go back in time. How did I go back in time…well that’s between Doc, Marty, and Myself.

@vladan1021 ….Um $900….to $400…..So for only $500 I can have some kick ass speakers? Next……You are kinda missing the point here. Not saying there aren’t faster….louder…bigger systems out there. I’m saying for under $400….this system is the best out there. So bragging that a $900 laptop has louder speakers?? Hell I would be disappointed if a $900 laptop didn’t have better speakers or anything else. I also hear that a 2012 Corvette is faster then a Kia Sportage….Imagine that.

My dad got this laptop yesterday. The speakers are horrible compared to my harman/kardon speakers from $900 satellite a505.

Hey there graybear2008 I hear you about the Macbook….I would love to have one but even the used ones are EXPENSIVE. This Toshiba has been awesome for me. Still not one single problem….knock on wood. Thanks again for the positive words! Thanks – Jase

Hey man, thanks for this review. I saw your comment on the walmart website in the customer review section and saw you had a youtube video. Im looking to get a new computer as well, I have an Acer computer which is about 5 years old and its slow as crap, But its because im going to school and doing computer programming so i gotta download alot of crap, i dont have the money to buy a macbook so i decided to get a toshiba, Their very powerful computers no matter what you use it for. Great review.

@djdew2000 It’s worth it, but if you want a deal give it time….Walmart has been running the price of this laptop up and down the flag pole for months. The lowest has been the $398….but I bet they have some deals during Black Friday. Take care – Jase

@doctortalk121 Sorry you had issues, I haven’t had one single issue and unless there is something new at Best Buy I couldn’t find a single computer out there anywhere that had the screen size, full key board, hard drive size and amount of RAM right out of the box for $50 more then this let alone $200 more. Plus the almost free shipping was pretty sweet too. Like my review it is what it is…this laptop isn’t for everyone….it’s perfect for me. So, Better for the price? I don’t think so.

this is a good computer but there are much better out there. had problems with the touchpad from the beginning and still having troubles after installing the update and patch from the toshiba website. the sound is horrible and i tweeked it to the best of my ability. I do listen to radio alot on the hp laptop with much better sound. not the best for the money, goto best buy and pick up the hp 17″ for fifty dollars more.

@babygurlfresh99 I imagine it could run any kind of game you want…the hard drive is huge and it is running plenty of RAM right out of the box.

@talk2trogers The facial recognition is not pre loaded on the system. I’m sure if that is something you want on your system you could have it installed. Personally I wouldn’t want that kinda of software on my system…it would be starting to make my laptop a little more like HAL from 2001. “What are you looking at on eBay Jase?”……”I’m just looking at stuff…” “Is that something you really need, Jase?”……”Oh, Jesus where is the off button.”…….”Don’t try to turn me off, JASE!!!!”

@jokerjase25 Thanks so much for this review!!! This is my first laptop and I have been agonizing over all of the things trying to figure out if this was good or not. I think Toshiba discontinued this model. Hope that doesnt cause any problems. But because of your various reviews, I ordered it tonight. My friends even told me tht I couldnt get anything cheaper for what it has on it. Someone said that it has facial recognition, what is that?thanks very much for sharing!! It sure helped me.
