Why this??? Ggggg!! I just went down the road and I bought a second hand usb external DVD recorder . It cost me almost nothing. Even a new one is dirt cheap nowadays.

I got rid of Windows 7 Starter and I was able to install Window XP Pro in my notebook with the DVD recorder without any troubles. Any OS can be install like that.

I need help…. When we were suppose to do the thing when it took 10 minutes you said i accidently closed out my cmd window and now my usb stick isnt working at all… Can this be solved?

i cant get passed the step to find your cd drive it says the system can not find the path specified and i know my cd/dvd drive is E: so wtf am i doing wrong?

@naim2194 nope that whole U3 Thing seems to be in the bios of the USB stick.
short of getting into the secondary flash via some convoluted method of talking to the built in microcontroler U3 is here to stay .
HAA i just relised the background i’m using now is the same as the old vista setup i had when i made this 4 drive wipes ago… funny . (i grab my backgrounds form google most of the time.)

when you ‘clean’ the usb using cmd, does it remove the u3 thing inside the Cruzer
coz i happen to have the same flash drive

u can use win 2 flash for installing windows from usb stic. just search in google for win 2 flash
