Firstview Electronic HK Limited is showing what may be one of the worlds cheapest laptops, it runs Android on a low cost and low power VIA 8505 ARM based 533Mhz processor, with 128MB RAM, 2GB Nand flash, 7″ 800×480 screen, WiFi, SD card reader, 3G dongle support. It’s supposed to run 4 hours on a 2100mah battery, it loads websites slower than a more expensive computer, but it can be made for only $65 in the Chinese factories when ordered by big resellers in large quantities. @laptopsunder500 you can set the browser to render in desktop mode I believe.
I don’t get it, why do you want Android on a laptop? If it has a decent size screen then sites that are optimized for mobile devices look way too simplified and clunky

@Metalheadfromny Alluminium costs more than plastic + The Hardware is more powerful e.g. 8 GB PC RAM = 4 GB MAC RAM. LED Backlight display made out of glass. The Software that comes with it would cost for PCs more than 500 bucks. There’re a lot of reasons why Apple products aren’t overpriced.
PS: For Apple aren’t working poor children.

lol this is probably the best review on this product i have seen, but MAN this gentleman talking is hard to understand. i am trying to decide if i should buy this android mini lap top or an asus or HP or toshiba (no, i will not consider other brands what so ever) instead. i will only be using it to browse internet and get information on things. no gaming, not much for email personally, just surfing the web, and updating facebook, maybe looking at youtube videos.
