Desktops for power, customizability, speed, and repair ability.
Laptops for transportation and power efficiency.
So here’s my conclusion, if you travel a lot, get a laptop, otherwise, get a desktop. (I personally think that desktops are a lot easier to work on, and you can build a desktop a lot more easily than a laptop.)

Get a laptop with better performance (quad core Cpu and 512 Gpu and so on)

Although if u want to play games GET A Console their the best (just remember to give them proper cooling)

Won’t be long until laptops are the only choice. They keep getting better and there is almost no reason to get a desktop unless you are a gamer or a heavy worker.

@madanvijayantony5

Agree. For non gamer desktop & laptop are great. For gamer not encourage for laptop cause it lack of pipeline (graphic card).

I got a 7552g n930 x4 @ 2ghz, hd5650 OC’d to hd5730, 6gb ram, 1tb hd 2×500… it can play most recent games I have at high settings or max settings and for the lack of space i have a 2TB mybook… i was trying to spec up a desktop to build recently and for what i wanted in a desktop would cost a lot more than a laptop i.e. 6core cpu, ssd drive +large storage drives, 5870s in xfire, 3 monitors… i’d say laptop for portability and price but desktop for raw power…
