@mrswartz LOL yea, for sure they are, or I might get a dell alienware but they seem ver yvery chunky and very heavy and this looks alot better, also I dont know if this comes with win7 now so that would be another bonus if it did, at the moment I game on a low range laptop cost £400 so this would be 2 and a half times more expensive, its going to be inpossible to get one of these with buying games for my xbox360 at the same time lol

Acer:
2GB memory
250 hard drive
3 hours battery life

Toshiba
3GB memory
320 hard drive
4.5 hours battery life

So how in the world is Acer better?

@ScottRayne Thanks for getting back so quick, I was wondering also if its good for gaming as it seems a very high end laptop and the sound does seem very good from other videos on this laptop I found at various sites.

@Gtrevolutionmad My Qosmio is still working great! I upgraded to windows 7 and haven’t had any trouble at all. I strongly recommend the Toshiba brand and the Karmon Hardon speakers sound awesome (which is rare in a laptop).

Out of interest, are you still using the same laptop now? How is it running, still like what you had before, Im thinking of getting one but not sure how long it will last and if it will have alot of problems going with it?

@Enjoyepicmovies Sadly not my case, Acer failed to bless me with a fantastical laptop and gave a piece of crap.

@the4masters004 There’s no comparison (like comparing apples to tennis balls). It just depends on your preferences and what you need it for. I’ve always been a PC guy (but I do have the iPhone), the Mac people seems to like Apples… And the Linux guys, well they kinda live on the fringe of society usually in shacks, deep in the country.

@Nielske905 It seemed to be a good choice at the time (still does). (don’t tell anyone else, but I think the reason that the G55-802 was pulled off the shelves so fast is because in contains alien technology from another planet… ) {{{whispers: My toaster told me and she never lies}}}
